Homeschooler Involvement in FHCS
Flint Hills Christian School at Green welcomes the involvement of homeschooled children and their parents. Students may be enrolled in any of the classes that the school offers. Many homeschool parents take advantage of the electives that we offer such as: music, orchestra, art, and piano.
Homeschooled students who are enrolled at FHCS are also encouraged and welcome to participate in the many social events that the school holds, including field trips and the Science Fair. Tuition for Spanish, Art, and P.E. is $18.00 per month (average four classes/month). A $15.00 materials fee is charged for art class. Tuition for Music and Orchestra is $24.00 per month (average four classes/month). A $25.00 registration fee is also assessed annually for each homeschool student. At least two performances will be required for Music and Orchestra (Christmas and Easter). Enrollment for homeschoolers can be done at any time for Music and Art, but must be done at the beginning of the year for Orchestra.
Art, Music, and Orchestra classes begin on September 2, 2010. Enrollment may be completed on that day, but a form must be completed for Orchestra before the first class. Download form here.
