Riley County Museum To Hold Cowboy, And 1900 Open House

Saturday January 29 is Kansas Day, the 139th anniversary of Kansas Statehood. In honor of the day, the Riley County
Historical Museum, 2309 Claflin, Manhattan, will hold a Kansas Cowboy open house from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Dave
Zerfas will sing Kansas and Cowboy songs and tell cowboy tales. Everyone is invited to this free event. Wear your cowboy
bests, if you wish.

Sunday January 30 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m., "Fife at the Turn of the Century, 1900" will be explored at the Wolf House
Museum, 630 Fremont, Manhattan. 4th graders are touring the Wolf House this week to experence life in 1900 and we invite
the public to see what the 4th grade will see. The open house is free and everyone is welcome.
