Texas Tech vs. K-State Game Preview

'99: 6-5, 5-3 Big 12

`00: 5-2, 1-2 Big 12

Coach

Mike Leach (first season)

Quarterback Kliff Kingsbury will try to guide this passing offense past Kansas State this weekend. They will review the film
of the OU vs. K-State game to try to kick KSU while they’re down. Coach Mike Leach was the offensive coordinator for
OU last year and was able to produce a very efficient pass-happy offense. Coach Leach is doing the same with Texas Tech
and will air it out against the cats.

The Red Raiders are coming off a 56-3 loss to Nebraska for their second loss of the season and second conference loss.
They will be doing all that they can to make sure not to get another lopsided score against them.

K-State will need to put plenty of pressure on the quarterback. He is very accurate at a 62% completion percentage and can
pick you apart if given the time.

K-State should not have any trouble with this opponent, but it will depend on how they rebound from the upset that
Oklahoma delivered last weekend.

The Texas Tech vs. K-State game will start at 6pm and will be aired on Fox Sports Net.

Prediction: KSU- 50+  Texas Tech- 7
