The Manhattan Community Foundation announced at its October 10 Board Meeting that the foundation has allocated $10,000 for grants to social service, non-profit, and civic organizations that serve the Manhattan area. Grants will be awarded on a competitive basis for projects that address needs in the community. Box 1127, Manhattan, KS 66505-1127, by calling their office at 587-8995, or by e-mail to mcf@bearkan.com. Deadline for submitting grant applications to the foundation is Monday, December 10.
