Star: The Musical will be performed at the Manhattan Arts Center on November 30 and December 1 at eight PM for both shows. Suggested donation $ 8.00 at the door. This musical is sponsored by the KUKSU Independent Theater Organization: a group dedicated to produce student written plays from KSU and KU campuses. Every aspect of the musical from acting, costumes, to choreography are from the students’ creativity. The music, book, lyrics were written by Donald Lee from Kansas State University.

Star: The Musical is a story of a na_ve young man, Jimmy Star, from Oklahoma who travels to California in search to become a movie star.

Star: The Musical is geared to attract new and old audiences with its humor, drama, and original music unique in its own flavor.
