The Manhattan Art Center will present new style to well loved classic Christmas tunes on December 14-16, all performances are at 8 p.m.

The show takes a variation to traditional Christmas concerts being that it is set in a cocktail cabaret style. "The show is going to be a blast," said Thom Jackson, director of the show. "It’s something that hasn’t really been done at the Art Center before and with talent like this you can’t go wrong." The cast of Cocktail Christmas Cabaret is made of performers from all over the region and includes Joe Braun, Wamego; Cynthia Fitzgerald, Manhattan; Rick Munson, Junction City; and Linda Uthoff, Manhattan. Accompanying the singers is Susan Wilson, Manhattan.

Jackson said, "When I called up each of the cast member they weren’t sure they heard me right because it was May or June when I asked them but they all said it would be fun to do a show with the old gang again."

The audiences for the most part will be seated at cocktail tables in the Grosh Performance Hall and with a glass of holiday cheer, will be entertained by the sounds of Jazzy/Swing/Traditional holiday music.
