Lynn Botbyl, Bluemont teacher, was awarded the Learning Disabilities Teacher of the Year award by the Kansas Learning Disabilities Association of Kansas, Nov. 16, at the LDA state convention in Lawrence.

According to Lori Martin, Bluemont principal, Botbyl was well deserving of this award. "She was presented the award in recognition of her relentless advocacy for learning disabled children," Martin said.
