Publisher Speaks To Media Group

Jon A. Brake, Publisher of the Manhattan Free Press attended an all-day
seminar in Las Vegas last Friday. Brake was asked to speak  to The
Committee for Local Media on starting a newspaper.
The meeting was sponsored by  The Spotlight and The Idaho Observer. The
seminar was held to help people wanting to start newspapers. Fifty people
attended the meeting from eight states from Oregon to Florida.
Other speakers were: Don Harkins, The Idaho Observer; Willis Carto, The
Spotlight; Howard Carson, The Spotlight; Clay Douglas, The Free American;
Paul Hall, the Jubilee and Dr. Clyde Reynolds.
