City Of Manhattan Expenditure Increase 180%

Here is a graph of the City of Manhattan Expenditures from 1991 to 2000. According to City records the City spent $26,831,000 in 1991.
In 2000 the City spent $49,901,000 that is a 180% increase.

Here are figures for the other years: 1992 - $28,556,000; 1993 - $35,475,000; 1994 - $37,146,000; 1995 - $39,972,000; 1996 -
$40,764,000; 1997 - $40,192,000; 1998 - $47,362,000; 1999 - $46,678,000; 2000 - $49,901,000. The 2001 Budget is $59,121,000.

Budgets and Expenditures will run about seven percent difference. The City will use the seven percent as a carry-over for the next Budget
year.
