Candidate Forum On Radio

The League of Women Voters of Manhattan/Riley County will co-sponsor a Candidate Forum for USD 383 School Board and the Manhattan
City Commission on Sunday, March 25th from 3:00-5:00 p.m. at the Main Fire Station, 2000 Denison (corner of Kimball and Denison.) The
forum will be broadcast live on KMAN News/Talk 1350 Radio.

Candidates for three school board positions will appear the first hour and are: Milo Kelley, Walter Pesaresi, Flordie Pettis, Jim Shroyer, Jay
Scott Smith and Dorothy Soldan. The second hour will feature city commission candidates running for three open seats: Brad Everett, David
L. Johnson, Karen McCulloh, Carol Peak and Mark Taussig. Candidate Roger P. Reitz is unable to attend.

All candidates will answer questions prepared by the League and from the audience. Each candidate will make a two-minute closing
statement. Co-sponsoring the forum are: AARP, AAUW, Manhattan Area Chamber of Commerce, Manhattan Area Retired Teachers
Association and the NAACP.

The forum is free and open to the public. KMAN Radio will rebroadcast the forum on Tuesday, March 27th at 7:00 p.m.
