Reinke To Be Superintendent At Plymouth Wisconson School

Clark Reinke, USD 383 associate superintendent of site support, announced this morning that he has accepted the position
of superintendent with the Plymouth, Wis., public schools for the 2000-2001 school year.

Reinke has been with Manhattan-Ogden public schools for 22 years and has served as associate superintendent of site
support since 1993. Prior to that Reinke was principal at Amanda Arnold Elementary and at Ogden Elementary and also
served as assistant principal at Northview Elementary. Reinke was also a classroom teacher for 10 years.

Throughout Reinke’s tenure with USD 383 the district has been awarded the National Award for Model Professional
Development from the Federal Department of Education, awarded the Outstanding Staff Development Program in Kansas
by the Kansas Staff Development Council and was successful in the acquisition of a number of competitive grants. Reinke
played a leadership role in initiation of the current interest-based bargaining process and has facilitated the Board of
Education Negotiations Team for the past two years.

"I left home (Wisconsin) 30 years ago and am excited to be returning," Reinke said. "The Plymouth public school district is
about half the size of USD 383 and I look forward to working with the staff, students and parents in that community."

Reinke will be with the district through June 30, the last day of this contract year, and will begin duties as superintendent in
Plymouth, Wis., on July 1, 2000.
