Flint Hills Expo 2002 This Weekend

The Junction City, Manhattan and Wamego Area Chambers of Commerce are pleased to present the Flint Hills Expo 2002 this Saturday and Sunday.

This year’s exposition will feature a business show, outdoor show, health and wellness expo and Project Impact’s safe home expo. Alltel, Kansas Farm Bureau and Farm Bureau Financial Services have underwritten the show and have made it possible to bring this fine exposition to the surrounding region.

Business Show: Area businesses will show their wares and services in the Bramlage Coliseum concourse and the Brandeberry building.

Outdoor Show: Sports and outdoor related business will be displaying in the Brandeberry building and outside.

Health and Wellness Expo: The Community Health Council is sponsoring a three county health fair (Riley, Geary and Pottawatomie) that will include seminars, health tips and blood pressure checks in the Brandeberry building.

Project Impact’s Safe Home Expo: Exhibitors in this show include FEMA, the police and fire departments and will have safety tips for civil and weather emergencies.

The Flint Hills Expo is scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, April 6-7. Hours are Saturday 10am-6pm and Sunday 12pm-5pm. There will be activities for children, including an unsanctioned Pedal Pull on Saturday sponsored by Cat Work Tools.
