Film Society To Pick Films For Next Year

MAC Film Society has just completed its first season, with a standing-room-only showing of "Windhorse", a new movie
about Tibet.

The Film Society is now extending an invitation to all those
interested in films to attend a gathering on Sunday, April 9, at 4 p.m. at the Manhattan Arts Center, when the process of
selecting the films for the Film Society’s next season will begin. Refreshments will be available.

The Board of Directors of the Arts Center has adopted the policy that this coming year the Film Society’s programs will be
open to all members of the Arts Center, and that those attending be invited to contribute to support the series.

Memberships start at $25 a year, for students memberships start at $10 a year.
