The Riley County Commission approved a contract with the Kansas Department of Health and Environment to clean up illegal dumpsiters located southwest of Randolph on old U.S. Highway 77. It consists of a very trashed mobile home and outbuildings. There is solid waste scattered over the entire site.

Riley County will pay 25% of the clean up and KDHE will pay 75%. KDHE will attempt to recover its share of the clean up costs from the landowner.

Riley County's share will be $3,000.
