Miller Named Manhattan High School West Campus Principal

The Manhattan-Ogden USD 383 Personnel Office announced today that Teresa Miller will be principal at Manhattan High School West Campus for the 2001-2002 school year.

Miller will replace Sylvester Benson who retired this year after serving the district for 31 years.

Miller has served in many capacities for USD 383 since first starting in the district as a gifted education consultant for grades kindergarten through sixth in 1986. Miller has also served as principal of Eugene Field and Amanda Arnold elementary schools. She has been Manhattan High School’s associate principal since 2000.

Miller received her bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education/English from Emporia State University, a master’s degree in Special Education/Gifted from Kansas State University and an Ed.D. in Educational Administration from Kansas State University in 1991.
