Adolph Takes New Job As Assistant

Forty-seven years ago Fritz Knorr and Athletic Director Moon Mullins hired Carol Adolph as the department bookkeeper. Adolph told the Free Press Wednesday that "they hoped I would stay two years." That was 1955.

From 1964 to 1967, she served as the secretary to the athletics director. In 1967, she was promoted to ticket office manager and administrative assistant.

Adolph has now been promoted to Assistant to the Athletics Director. Adolph said her first job is to do research into the fans who purchased the chairback seats at the K-State Football stadium. Some of those original seats are grandfathered and will not be subject to the new ticket purchase requirements.
