Michele Jones took over the job of USD 383 Communications Coordinator as of June 15th.

Jones had been the Director of Manhattan Main Street. She started that job in January of 2000.

In a letter to the Main Street Members Jones said: "Thank you to everyone that I've worked with during my tenure. There are great opportunities ahead for downtown Manhattan."

At USD 383 Jones takes the place of Angie Cohorst who resigned a month ago to take a job with Kansas Farm Bureau.
