MCC Appoints News Vice President

Randy Ingmire, MCC class of 1977, is returning to his alma mater as Vice President for Academic Affairs. He will be
responsible for designing, scheduling, and managing both the traditional academic programs and the adult education program.
"MCC is at a key point in her history and I’m excited about the possibilities that NCA accreditation brings," says Randy.

With a teaching background in speech and written communication as well as 15 years as a pastor in the local church, Randy
is uniquely qualified to help develop training programs for tomorrow’s church leaders. Since 1992, Randy has been professor
of speech and written communication at Lincoln Christian College (LCC). Two years later he became Chair of the General
Education Field. Prior to joining the faculty of LCC, he served as senior minister at First Christian Church, in Lamar,
Colorado from 1980-85 and at Northside Christian Church in Warrensburg, Missouri from 1985-92. He has also served at
churches as a student minister, youth minister, and interim minister. His teaching background includes being a graduate
assistant (instructor) at Central Missouri State University from 1985-89 and being an instructor at the Missouri State FFA
and FHA-HERO Public Speaking Camps in Missouri from 1987-present.

Randy holds a master’s in Speech Communication from Central Missouri State University (1992) and a bachelor’s in
Bible/Ministry from Manhattan Christian College (1977). In spring 2000 he completed his residency on a second master’s in
Preaching from Lincoln Christian Seminary. Randy also attended Kansas State University 1979-80 participating in a graduate
study in Family and Child Development.

Randy’s family includes his wife, Lorena, and four children — Megan, who will be a college sophomore, Bryce, who will be
in ninth grade next fall, and twin sons, MacKenzie and Brock, who will be fifth graders next fall. Randy and Lorena enjoy
leading seminars and workshops focusing on family and communication.
