Kansas State's Hale Library To Get Improvements

Growing pains at Kansas State University’s Hale Library mean some improvement work at the library this summer.

To accommodate the continued growth of the library’s collections, compact shelving is being installed in various areas and in the library’s off-site storage annex.

"Although library staff realize that the construction is a disruption, the work will benefit all library patrons and enhance the future of the library itself," said Karen Cole, associate dean of KSU Libraries. "We are committed to providing access to our collections and regret this unavoidable inconvenience."

Signs will be posted throughout the library to direct patrons to books which have been temporarily relocated.
