Kole Named Interim Lee Principal

 

The Manhattan-Ogden USD 383 Personnel Office announced this morning that Nancy Kole will be interim principal at Lee Elementary School for the 2001-2002 school year.

Nancy Kole will replace Gilbert Davila who recently became the principal at Anthony Middle School.

Kole has been USD 383’s Literacy Coordinator, based out of Lee Elementary, during the 2000-2001 school year. She was the English as a Second Language (ESL) Coordinator in 1999 and the Assistant to Curriculum and Instruction in 1998, both for the Geary County Unified School District. She has also been an Adjunct Professor at Kansas State University in the ESL Department.

Kole received her bachelor’s degree from University of Texas, Austin, a master’s in Educational Administration from Texas Tech University and is currently working towards a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction at K-State.

"I am very happy and excited about continuing the excellent educational traditions at Lee Elementary School," stated Kole. "It’s a wonderful school and I look forward to working with the staff, students, and parents".
