Commissioner Wants Citizens Input

The Comprehensive Plan Update Advisory Committee will be one of the most important committees named by the City Commission in the next five to ten years.

Commissioner Ed Klimek knows how important each appointment will be and he would like your help. Klimek wanted to talk about Mayor Bruce Sneads appointments at the 5:30 City Commission meeting Tuesday night but was stopped by City Attorney Bill Frost. Frost said the appointments were up for the first reading on the regular meeting (7:00 p.m.) agenda and should not be talked about at the earlyer meeting.

When given the oppertunity all Klimek asked for was for Citizens to look over the list and call or e-mail the Commissioners with their likes and concerns.

The five City Commissioners can reject or replace any person on the Committee before the final vote at the next meeting.
