Police Looking For Sluspect

The Riley County Police are looking for a robbery suspect that hit pharmacies in Junction City and Manhattan.

On Friday Dillons Pharmacy in Junction City reported an armed robbery. Saturday officers with the Riley County Police Department responded at 3:07p.m, to a call of an armed robbery at Barry’s Drug Store located at 414 Poyntz Ave. in Manhattan. Victims reported that a white male approached the pharmacy counter brandishing a silver in color, semi-automatic handgun and demanded Loratab 10 pain medication. During the incident the suspect forced employees and witnesses into the back area of the store.

Preliminary investigation reveals that the same individual committed both robberies and a photograph was taken of him at the Dillons Store in Junction City. The suspect is described as a white male over six feet tall, thin build, wearing a ash blonde wig, baseball cap, and a dirty white button down shirt.

The suspect is believed to be in his late thirties or early forties with some facial hair.
