INTRUST Bank Breaks Ground On New Manhattan Branch On West Side

INTRUST Bank ground-breaking ceremonies for its new full-service bank was held at 9 a.m. this morning.

The branch, located at 2706 Anderson Avenue (corner of Anderson and Westport), will offer a wide range of financial services, including a comprehensive line of business and personal accounts, along with lending, brokerage and investment services. Plans for the branch also include three drive-through lanes and a 24-hour drive-through ATM.

"I have long-believed that a west location is key to our growth in Manhattan," says Terry Harts, community bank president. "This is a very exciting time for INTRUST. We want residents of this community to know that we are placing roots firmly in the Manhattan soil. This location is, by far, the best available site for our new branch and we couldn’t be happier."

The 3,100-square-foot branch is slated for a first-quarter 2002 opening. INTRUST will retain its branch located downtown at 630 Humboldt.
