Members of the Flinthills Veterans Coalition held a planning session Tuesday for the annual Veteran Day observance.

This years observance will begin Sunday, November 4th at 3:00 p.m. with a free concert at the Municipal Auditorium by the Commodores Jazz Ensemble, a 18 piece specialty unit of the United State Navy Band.

The Commodores perform a mixture of music ranging from the authentic sounds of the swing era to the big band jazz of today.

Other activities are planned will be the Veterans Day Parade on Monday, November 12th. The parade will begin on Poyntz at 9:30 a.m. followed by ceremonies in the Wareham Opera House at 11:00.

A breakfast from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. served by the American Legion Club.
