The Manhattan Area Clean Cities Coalition and the City of Manhattan announced that the Alternative Fuel Expo that was to be held on Thursday, September 13th and Friday the 14th and Purple Power Play on Poyntz has been cancelled out of respect for the people and communities affected by yesterday’s national tragedy.

The Manhattan Area Clean Cities Coalition Alternative Fuel Expo was to feature alternative fuel cars from the KSU solar car team, Ford, Toyota and Chrysler as well as a vehicle from E-Bikes. Alternative vehicle fuels such as: ethanol, propane, compressed natural gas, solar and electric energy and their potential cost savings and conservation benefits were to be exhibited.
