- The Shrine Bowl of Kansas, Inc. is a separate entity sponsored by the five major Shrine
groups of Kansas (Abdallah of Overland Park, Arab of
Topeka, Isis of Salina, Midian of
Wichita, and Mirza of Pittsburg). Each major Shrine group selects three of its members (1
each year to serve a three year term) to serve on the fifteen man Board of Directors. They meet 8 to 12 times a year
and make all the policies and guidelines as a group. They serve without salary or benefits
and pay their own expenses to participate in their meetings and all Shrine Bowl events.
The officers are president, 1st vice president, 2nd vice president, secretary and
treasurer. They delegate the day to day operations and promotions to the Executive
Director, Dave Mize, and the Office Secretary, Janette Mize.
